I have a quick question about the Advanced Heavy Cruiser Retrofit. I noticed some posts here from June that say you can equip cannons on this ship and I just wanted to see if that was still the case and if so is that all cannon types? On the ship requisition screen only the Dreadnought Cruiser mentions anything about cannons.

You can use single cannons because they can go on any ship, but not dual cannons. The only Federation cruiser that can use dual cannons is the Dreadnought Cruiser.

I dunno where you saw that mentioned, but only the Dreadnought, can equip dual and dual heavy cannons.

Now any ship, including the Excelsior can equip single cannons, with no problem at all.

Oh I wasn't aware that normal cannons could be used on any ship! Thank you both for the clarification.
