# 1 What to do with samples
09-13-2012, 09:35 AM
Hey all I am new to the game only been playing for two days now, but i have quiet a few questions. I will stick with this main one for now, when Im traveling around and I pick up samples weather it be radiation, alien artifacts, or some of the other ones I have found, what are you supposed to do with those, examine them on ship somehow with the science station, bring them to earth or give them to someone, any help or any tips on overall gameplay would be greatly appreciated...Live Long and Prosper all

Samples are used in crafting items (gear), so unless you don't ever plan to make gear yourself they aren't useful. I think they can be sold on the exchange.

You can also contribute them to your fleet starbase projects.
