The Wells and Korath are from what? 500 years into the future? I'm not sure that counts as faction specific... I wouldn't count them as faction specific.
I don't really even want them in the game. <------------------Not a time travel fan.
Agreed. The Time Fleet isn't Faction specific. They're a Faction unto themselves - a separate entity in the Trek universe which battles temporal disturbances, no matter who causes them. They'll slap-down a Fed just as quickly as they would a Rom, Klink, or Na'Kuhl.
And how can you be a Trek fan and not be a time travel fan? Time travel is traditional in Trek. You're not a Trek series until you've messed with time at least once.

"once" how about dozens of times
even the original series must have done it 8+ times out of only 76 eps

I'm not a fan of Time Travel player ships in STO. Bring on something more 25th century.
ALl I can say is if everyone is right about the Welles and Korgath (sp?) as lockbox ships, Cryptic has proven there are no bounds they won't cross in the name of profit and that the lock box theme is getting progressively worse. I thought the Tholians were had to swallow.
The 18% - Own it! - Be proud of it! - Make it grow!

Guess both fanbases failed to live up to the ideals of thier fandom.
Thus the use of the words "at least" before once, to delineate that it must happen a minimum of 1 time.
yes I know you ment more than once - I was trying to enforce the fact that time travel is a staple of all star trek - both in the show and several movies

It seems Season 7 is very-much about time/space anomalies with the introduction of the new Zone and the Azure Nebula - which is featured heavily in the Destiny trilogy with the Vesta Class. It's not really Trek if you don't have periodic time travel problems to deal with - and that's an aspect of Trek Cryptic has really overlooked until now. I don't mind a time sequence. Up to this point we've really only had 1 Fed Mission and 1 FE segment dealing with time.

And it's Wells and Korath.
Definately if STO is true to Star Trek canon and essense, then it's time for some major "time travel" content to be installed - for both FED and KDF
If these were actual starships from 400 years in the future, then they would essentially be I Win ships. Soloing the ISE would be possible. Only reason why CSE and KASE can't be soloed is having to be in two places at once. Still they could be done with two players with timeships.
I believe that these are starships that are inspired by scans that various Temporal Investigation agencies have done on 29th Century ships. They might look like ships from the 29th Century, but are built using 25th Century technology. For example, Wells Class might use some weird Neutronium alloy while the Wells class ship we get will be made of duranium or whatever material is currently used. Also various features would not be available like the temporal transporters they use so no time travel.

.
Why would you need 2 ships to be in 2 different places at once if the ship is a time ship? Just finish 1 area then go back in time to do the other - or forward.
