Tribal Shaman, the witch doctor, high priest, the Elders, etc. Those people in a primitive society too small to hunt with the hunters, unwilling to do the forraging work of teh gatherers.
These people would read the entrails of the latest kill or a fallen foe and read the future. Predict the weather patterns of when to plant or how the herd beasts would travel, etc.
