New to the foundry. Decided to make something short and simple for my very first time. Go to academy, talk to guy, and interact with rock. Each time I complete the objectives the mission won't complete. It makes the completed noise, but the name of the mission still appears in the mission window. Like something else needs to be done...
I have tried multiple version of this on ESD, KDF Academy, talking to different people, interacting with different objects. I have published a few times and had people test them, the same thing happens for them. The do what they are supposed to but the mission doesn't complete.
In case I wasn't clear. I setup the Grant mission dialog window fine. Then I drag over a cryptic map to the board. Then I drag over a dialog with contact and set him up. He appears to be working ok. Then I drag over a interact with object window and that seems to work. The objectives appear as they should, they say what they should, they appear on the map etc...
Does something need to go below that window for this 2 objective mission?
I am looking for confirmation of this, but there may be an issue with social maps atm. I know for certain that SFA is acting weird when you try and complete a mission on it using an interact. What map(s) are you using?
I've had simmilar issues with my foundry missions. Caused bad ratings to. It finished when I play tested it but then decided to no longer complete. I tried adding ending dialouge but that didn't help. So, I just deleted it and decided to build a new mission in its place. Probably going to scrap that one as well and rebuild it on nonsocial maps.
I am experiencing this problem too. There is no posted guidance that I can find. This thread was started in September and here it is almost November and there is no guidance, advice, or reassurance from Cryptic.
I really want to write a few more Foundry Missions, but if they are not going to end properly, what is the use?
Is anyone paying attention to the Foundry and its issues - or is it just a bugged system that will never be fixed?
