I've been noticing a gradual shift in the color of the KDF ships recently. They are favoring red. It started with the Aegis set, moved forward with the veteran skin and is now complete with the new future ships. I'm not complaining, their ships should match the faction color.

The key thing is to avoid getting TOO red. Klingon ships are supposed to integrate a little brown in there as well, making for a more mottled brownish-red color.

The Aegis sets were part of a Cryptic homage to the new Tron film. As was the redesign of the club on ESD and they put in a light-cycle inspired travel power over at Champions Online too.

Unsure why the red future skin on the KDF Timeship.

Ive always just been a fan of the classic patina green.
Though I do like the look of the new ships. Colors can be changed I hope.

They could be in the Foundry (the red skin was seperate from the others) so it's quite likely.
