It's a good looking ship, just curious what the manhiem and tipler consoles do? It looks like one summons two decoys and the other (when equipped on the wells sci ship anyways) "Rewinds" time and repairs hull and shields - does it have this same effect on the destroyer?
I'd consider buying it, but have been dissapointed before by C-store ships... and when considering the amount of lobi crystals + keys to open the boxes this has the potential to be one very expensive ship. For those that have purchased this item was it worth the purchase? Are the consoles actually useful or just gimicky? Just wanting some feedback before deciding, any info would be useful.
The destroyer is basically a fleet escort with two universal consoles!
The manheim and tipler are more for effect than blowing things up! I have the destroyer and the science ship.
Buy the destroyer off the exchange...90 million ec or so and spend the 400 lobi on the takao kinetic console and the chroniton DBB. The two piece set bonus makes chroniton torpedoes hit as hard as quantums and loaded out with ap weapons makes for some good stuff.
I outfitted with disrupters / polarized disrupters and also found that to work well. Its a great looking ship as well.
also, theres a bonus for having both the manheim and tipler consoles equipped on the same ship., for the 1Time that the tipler console is active it actively freezes the enemies nearby. leaving them sitting ducks.
The Triple Temporal Set bonus on eoither of the Temporal Ships is pretty nice, expecially the mobius. it increases the player ships speed and turn rate while slowing down the enemy..... pretty much equating an APO minus the damage boost which will stack with APO.
I think i tested it out and managed to get a turn rate of like 40 on my tac captain in a mobius for about 10 seconds.

It's also basically a Fleet Escort Carrier, minus Hangar, with more Aquarius style options for BO loadout.
It's a nice ship that is on par with fleet ships. I find the control gimmicks useful and the Tipler console is almost good enough to skip out entirely on BO hull heals while being an optional objective saver in STFs (you can delay your enemies by 7 seconds). The base shields are nice too.

An expensive lesson that one compromised account can undo the hours of work and hundreds of dollars spent in good faith by a fleet.
