Battle Group Maco Starts tie 4 construction in 1 hour 22 minuets. Congrats guys, nice to see others at the lvl. Defiantly shows were all around the same time frame with keeping up on this stuff huh.

I don't believe so, not by a long shot. I'm not trying to be an ass, but I think these tier 4 Starbases are really only getting started already by you mega-fleets and super-ultra-grinding fleets.

My fleet is neither. We're only today finishing tier-3 across the board, with a tier-2 across the board KDF-side. It isn't a huge fleet by any means, probably about the size the devs had when they made the system.

That said, my fleet is probably going to hit a tier 4 area before/at the end of the month, and at least start most likely the tier 4 SB around the time season 7 comes out.

I'm not trying to whine and be like, 'WAAAAH, my fleet isn't getting ahead of everyone else!!', or anything though.

I'm just saying that there's a curve to how people are progressing, and that everyone really isn't 'keeping up'.

dont feel bad i wish i could hit tier 4.... maybe eng but not the rest is stuck at 3.... i think the cost is WAY TO HIGH...

Would it be possible to see the other facilities? I know the T2 Industrial Fabricator looks nothing like its preview pic.

The Tier 4 dilithium costs seem excessive, especially since Heretic said Tier 5 starbase upgrade was supposed to max out at 1.2 million dilithium.

Starbase Upgrade Projects
Tier 1: 64,800 dilithium (@ 157 dil per zen = 413 zen = $4.13)
Tier 2: 216,000 dilithium (@ 157 dil per zen = 1376 zen = $13.76)
Tier 3: 648,000 dilithium (@ 157 dil per zen = 4128 zen = $41.28)
Tier 4: 1,900,000 dilithium (@ 157 dil per zen = 12102 zen = $121.02)
Tier 5: First Born (5.5M+?, or $350+?)

Dan Stahl has said most recently in the October Ask Cryptic about reducing costs at Tier 4 and 5. I strongly suggest this be done sooner rather than later.

Congrats to those who have managed this feat, which will be out of reach for all small and medium sized fleets.

you are missing all the upgrade costs of each section - I'm doing Tier 3 now:

324,000 dilth x3 = 972,000 + upgrade 648,000 = 1,620,000 dith for tier 3

if Tier 4 sections are half the upgrade cost then tier 4 total dilth cost is:

850,000 x 3 = 2,750,000 + 1,900,000 for a whopping total dith cost of upgrade at 4,650,000 dilth!!! or about 30,000zen

Tier 5 - 12,000,000+ dilth

this is why you will be able to count the T5 starbases on your 2 hands

we filled the 1.9 million like that.
And super mega fleet, lol i wish, we have about 20-25 active players on through the whole day, but were no way a mega fleet, we have 415 members, 325 are active with the others having been inactive since around december of 2011 as the latest that i have cleaned up, and we are very VERY strict on recruting, we only recruit those we play with, we dont spam **** anywhere, believe in quality, but it is why we have gotten our starbase done so fast is because all of our players are quality players and very very caring of the fleet.

Took us about 2 hours to have everyone start the project, but if you start most projects on time, and ignore the stupid specials, your fleet will go far. The specials are a joke.

since the cap is 500 - I would consider anything over 350 a "super-mega fleet" - avg fleet size is less than 50 making your fleet a very very big one!!

Wow. WOW! Nice work. But those upgrade costs are scary for smaller fleets.

The small fleet I'm in is about to get T2 ship yard. About 2/3 the way to T2 base.
At this rate it seems I should make peace with just getting T3 fleet stuff at best.

Thing is we only hit that number 1 month ago, before that we were under 100 active up to tier 2.5, and still managed to get every project started on time. Since then weve taken in a broken apart fleet, and other groups becaus epeople love us
