Good point Drunk.

I have replaced the Disruptors with Polaron weapons, all with at least Acc x2 and respecced my engineer with 6 into Flow Capacitors (and 6 into Power Insulators) and reassigned what my BO's have and I am pleased with the results. By no means am I an escort, but at least I am doing something

Also changed the consoles, 1 RCS Accelerator, 2 Neutronium Alloy, Plasmonic Leech

Science: 2 Flow Capacitors, Borg Console

Tac: 3 Polaron Phase Modulators

Just need to get the 2 pieces of the Omega Set I need and I am good to go.

You dont really need the RCS console imo, proper throttle control will get you plenty of angles on any ship. If you're trying to chase down escorts with out slow abilities you're probably doing it wrong. Just keep your duals pointed at a cruiser or sci and your buddies should be able to take down the escorts, or realize the cruiser you're facing is in a bad place. Pug pvps are now at the point where most cruisers/sci are learning to heal, so you will have to do that too, wait till you squeeze of a burst and then help someone out if they need it. The K'tinga is a great ship, just yesterday I tanked an escort, time ship, and an assault cruiser long enough for my team to take most of the capture points.

That's an intelligent question and it's tough to answer, it depends on whether you want to play offensively or not. I take Omega two-piece on most ships (on a cruiser, if you need to be healing off that much damage you're probably going to be dead anyway) but I definitely feel the hurt if I'm in a more fragile ship and I start taking heat. It's completely your call.

# 14 Update...

I took most of the people's suggestions and modified my K'tinga, then decided to test it out, first in a couple of Elite STF's, where it performed admirably (someone on the PVP forums once told me anything that works in PVP will do PVE no problem), then I took it into Kerrat.

Warped in right in the middle of a fight and began shooting. So far, the new K'tinga can dish out some and take hits. I only died by the combined might of 3 escorts (And technically a D'kora as well) and I am sure I took on a Defiant Retrofit and won.

Thank you all for helping me with this build
