To be honest i think its less than people imagine , Rademaker wanted this in game , its not like they had to beg him to add it

Something was up as; if the rights holder wants it, it shouldn't take a year to nail down the details and get a deal inked.

not neccesarily , we dont , and probably never will know the exact negotiations . but going from marks blog and info from twitter , it seems that there was a period of waiting involved ? im no expert , but i cant see it being a massive expensive deal when both sides are dealing on cordial terms and both want the same thing , just my opinion though

I think you underestimate the fact that people will just buy it because they are Vesta fans. I mean really look how many people picked up the Galaxy-X, the Excelsior, all the other ships in the C-Store. If it's there, people will buy it because they want it for the looks. Hell I was one of those people. I picked up almost every ship in the C-store because I like the way it looks. I've leveled up countless captains and made them work in specific ships.

All in all each ship has it's own unique abilities, and lucky for all of us we can swap around most of the abilities they each have. To make a claim that a ship needs to be OP or people won't buy it is absurd. Just look at how many people by keys all day long in hopes that they can get ships from the boxes.

No details about it released yet? I heard someone say it was going to be a sci ship, is this confirmed or how do people know?

I would really like a good sci ship, I hoped for a good 1000-day reward ship but to my disappointment it had cmdr tac instead of cmdr sci/universal...
