Man that ship actually looked better than I thot!

It would be nice if the Feds get Destroyers as the missing 4th ship type. Not chimeras, something which makes the Chimera called a destroyer.

Tactical mode causes the edges of the saucer to expand and reveal parts of the ship that look orange, probably for the phaser lotus. When you warp out, the nacelles come together. When you warp into a spot, the nacelles spread apart again.

Would you guys think that going from the 2 year anv. Odyssey to this would be a bad idea?

I currently have 57k+ hull, and from what I see I'll lose at least 10k hull, which isn't that fun of an aspect. I am using the borg set on my main tac.

Is it even worth flying?

This can mount dual cannons.

But really, the Oddy and the Chimera all fulfill different roles. You'd get both because they do vastly different jobs.

You gain a lot of turn rate over the Odyssey. I find turn rate + cannons makes up for loss of hull. Targets can't damage your hull if they're dead.

True, but my experience with cannons are not that great haha, hmm going to have to think on what crew layout I would have to do if I go escort role...though I tend to like rolling cruisers on my main only haha.....
