If someone else had a look at the almost endless discussion to the latest dev-blog, he/she could have found the answere:

All of this could change before Season 7 hits, but that is what the current plan is.
So, increased rewards for Fleet-Actions is a correct statement, decreased reward for doing STFs is something that you will read in one of the next Tribble-Patch-Notes.
First one half of the so called Community complains: "Give us instant access to all veteran rewards, for going lifetime.", then the other half of the same Community complains: "I've earned 1000 Day membership, I want a special reward.".
Stop complaining, if it is enough for you, you could have the "Captains Table" for the real veterans, I don't want access to another dead social zone...

So if you want dil, you can only play tac escort for a shot at 1st place.

Another reason NOT to play anything other than that.

The more of s7 that gets announced the worse it freaking gets.

Oww, thats rather painful news you drastically increased the rate of Dilithium use for s7 and not just a liitle increased but massive amount of new drain and severely reduced the ability to generate it. Not that the one thousand and some every stf was all that fast once you got the cooldowns involved.

I really really hope you give us something of a boost somewhere as all you have done in s7 is take dilithium reward amounts down and distributed them over a larger mission amount.

With this new system I would probably generate enough with my current play style to only pay for my duty officer upgrades at the academy. which is bad for you as I use to contribute a bit to the starbase and basically convert the rest into Zen through the exchange. Thats now less zen that will be taken out of circulation due to a shortage of dil.
