A) I haven't run 3 Borg in ages, the shield heal I didn't find happened often enough to compensate for the worse stats compared to running maco xii deflector.
B) I've been running maco deflector and shields with omega engines for a week or so, and yes: I pop a fair bit more. Doesn't seem horrific though.
C) people saying 2 piece maco bonus is useless are wrong, at least on fed escorts running cannons. Try fitting polarized disrupto dhc's and turrets, and watch the procs keep coming. Especially with cannon rapid fire.
D) the 125 power hard cap is gone? When did this happen? <runs home to reset his custom power profiles>
I think the changes are great at all and I'll w8 until I can get the Borg Shields MK XII and I'll have a look at their capacity. If they are ~7,5k it is a great improvement for me because such a high regeneration in addition with relative high shield capacity will get my fleet long range to be really good at shield stats.
It's pathetic how Cryptic has time to take away all that's good in the game, but can't seem to get their heads out of their backsides to fix the actual technical problems plaguing my game play experience. It's frustrating and wrong to have to worry about being disconnected in the middle of a mission because Cryptic is too cheap to work on the crappy servers.
