You're welcome, although he is straying away from referring to it as an MMO. It is online multi player in a persistent universe thought - sounds pretty MMO like to me.

Levi's ideas seem to be a short term fix, honestly I really think to make this game viable is exactly what Stahl says, lets hope for the first time he actually follows through!

Does it make sense to make ships for the KDF at this time considering where we're at right now?

I've pledged to Star Citizen, but its at least two years away it seems and I don't see it taking over STO as its very much made in the awesome Wing Commander/Privateer style. Not really an MMO, but yet it is as they seem to be trying to cover every base from a gaming point of view. Cannot wait for it either!

Excatly this is the opinion I've reached too.
There WAS so much potential in STO, but it was wasted on the Federation only.

I hope in 2-5 years another company will take up the Star Trek IP and make another MMO that time with a decent multifaction experience. Cryptic obviously failed miserably on that while still telling us to stay as we might get some new stuff.

Sorry if this sounds do negativ, but I'm fed up with Cryptics Federation gets new toys only stance.

Feds get 15 cstore ships in two years, we get one.

I think it's kind of funny that they go around saying there isn't enough players on the KDF to justify more content, what was it last time, 16% of Sto players? But there probably isn't that many BECAUSE of the lack of content. There was never really a lot to it, so obviously people were turned off from a faction that never really was. If they took the time to add the promised content then I'm sure people would go for it. I for one love the ships on the KDF side but don't play it as it does tend to be "hey we're bad guys" more than "we're honorable warriors" but if they added more content and some nice ships too boot I'd level my two KDF ASAP.
