Seeing as this STF is much harder, at least on Elite, than the others, requiring craziness like proper team healing for PvE content, are the rewards going to be extra-shiny? If not, I see this STF getting neglected due to it's difficulty, which would really be a shame.

Very happy the way it is set-up.

Tough mission, which requires a good mix of all classes to complete. Well done.

Unfortunately, no rewards were issued.

Played with my engineer on a galor (battlecruiser/aggressive build) with beams and a full maco set on elite mode.

The first two parts were even more easier with a cruiser. It wasn't difficult with an escort, but i've been able to tank 3 elite tac cubes aggroed on me with a galor...

The last one though has been harder than with my sci on an escort. We had no sci and no one to control the boss moves, so she's been able to run quicly toward players to get closer than 5km and to use her isometric charge. Some of our pugs never got it, two of them were constantly dying because of that and it took us 20 minutes to slowly kill her. The problem isn't the iso charge, it's people not reading team chat and having no sense of team play. Altough i wouldn't be sad if she had another special attack, let's say a strong plasma lotus (similar to the 1000-day veteran ship one). Something we can resist at least.

It's been doable with only one escort in our team but it took time. I think the queen's ship souldn't be allowed to move that fast. It's not easy for a galor not to get in the dangerous zone so slower ships will obviously get into trouble.

Played on normal and liked it. balance seemed very good.

during the cutscene. when the command ship turn up there is a little animation of it firing its lance and then my ship exploded.

then when the cut scene finished, my ship was in once piece. unless it was a generic npc ship that just happened to look like mine, why was my ship blowing up?

Well, I hate it.

How is flying around in CONSTANT plasma fire 'fun'? I mean, the Borg have always spammed plasma worse than your average email scammer, but.....

How is being one-shottined CONSTANTLY fun?

How is sitting in respawn obivion for LITERALLY mintues at a time 'fun'

Seriously - it was like being punched in the face countless times by six large blokes then three HUGE ones. And being expected to enjoy it.

I bailed on the instance I played and NOT playing it again under any circumstances.

That was the U.S.S. Houston I think, she assists you against the Cubes under the command of D'Vak.

Am actually going to replay this with my sci and Intrepid Retro - will be interesting to see if the Ablative armor can withstand the new and improved mega-OP borg.

Right ok, that makes sense, but its a little confusing at first to people in Odyssey's.

Aye - a Typhoon would've made more sense.

Is there a buff icon or something that telegraphs the Queen's 5km death aura? If so I keep missing it.

I found that avoiding her death aura (staying outside of 5km) and when it's fired, diving inside of 5km, seemed to work fairly well and I didn't die as quickly or as often, until the next death aura which I couldn't anticipate.

Fun fight, but awfully powerful abilities, nearly every one was a one-shot. A teammate was hit for over 700,000 damage
