While the layout looks nice and all, one thing seems to be missing. There's no counter to say how many people are currently queued for any of the missions, so how does someone who might want to only sign up for the one that's ready to go find that out? Especially with some of the PvE queues that require 15-20 players. You could end up wasting time waiting for it to fill and you're the only one wanting to do it.

Since there has been no change to it on Tribble, even though it was commented on by others from the first day, I would guess that it is a deliberate frustration designed to increase private teaming / Fleet grouping.

On Holo, a comparable frustration exists with the PUG AFK / Griefing issue.

Increased teaming and planned group social events translates into better results for Cryptic.

Then again, I could be totally wrong, and there is a "hidden column" that someone forgot to expand, and hasn't gotten back to yet ..
