I got another Prototype drop, a bunch of EDCs and Rare Salvages.
And it didnt change a thing. There seams to be a rather big threshold between each step up.
I hope somebody can figure it out how much is required, as I don't want to lose stuff needlessly.
3000 marks and 4k dilithium "as a reward for my dedication"? If it's not a typo I take it as an insult to my dedication. I had more than 12 proto techs, 30 or so proto borg salvages and probably more than 200 edcs on that char on tribble.
We were promised that the conversion rate would allow the most "dedicated" players to buy a complete set. Obviously it's not the case at all.
I'm not a cryptic basher but with this season 7 the constant need to ask for fair changes is becoming tiresome. Did any of you really expected us to be happy with that? Come on.
So my suggestion is:
- give us refined dilithium. We're supposed to buy sets with our reward boxes, aren't we? I have no trouble reaching my daily cap on my main character, so this conversion crate will be useless to me.
- x25 for the dilithium rewards. With 12 proto techs I should be allowed to buy a complete set without any trouble. I think I deserve it, with my hundreds of STFs...
Some have brought up this 'tiered sytstem'. Okay so I'd like ot know how that works.
1-10 edc means proto salvage is worth 1 edc.
11-20 edc = proto salvage is worth 2 edc? In which case would this mean by missing 1 eddc you've taxed yourself out of 50% of your potential earnings?
I can't understand how Cryptic want us to play the game only for later on they screw us over later on. Can't they see that by repeatedly doing this people will not want to play their games because most of it will be lost at a later date?
Did anyone really expect a fair translation of your work? Seriously?
I seem to remember them doing the same screwjob to the marks system when they converted the game to f2p.
I'm just amazed at how much we're being screwed. At least for season 5 it was a tax after a certain threshold but you still got more.
Now you could have 1 BILLION EDC or 100 it makes no difference you will get the same amount of reward (obvious I'm exagerating numbers but the point is accruate beyond a certain point any excess items give you NO bonus).
There's every chance that there is another tier where you get more OM/BNP/Ore but there is absolutely no way of knowing what the threshold is. I may have to get double the items for maybe only 25% more rewards.
