If anything bugs me most about the refit Connie model, it's the mirrored nacelles. The refit idea doesn't feel right to me, as I'd think by this era the Connie would've been far more likely retired than refitted again. Basically I consider it a nostalgia piece like the TOS Connie rather than a canon ship for this time period. That said, I consider all these to be irrelevant minor things as well. Tiny piddling petty details well worth ignoring as long as the core content is good.
