Hi all it`s James!

I am a 28/29 rank and am looking at which ship to go for! I am a tactical officer and have 1 tactical bridge officer. 2 engineering and 1 science. My tactical abilities are cannon rapid fire mark 1, torpedo spread mark 2. I can`t remember my other bridge officer abilities so contact me in-game email and i`ll give them to you then! I`m looking a intrepid class and using a mixture of proton trops, dual and single beam arrays, i`ll use this for PvE and episodes up to the next rank that allows me to get a new ship.

You are in a position to use one of the most entertaining ships in the game and you want to fly WHAT?

Dude, ffs, get a Defiant. They're small, quick, agile, and hit HARD. Add on to that, you're a tac. So you have APA, and FOMM. Combine those with that little ship, and crap will just melt in front of you.

what hereticknight085 said. i'm a VA tac and still use the defiant, which now is a fleet defiant.

I think I`ll get the Tactical escort after all as just keep upgrading the weapons and kit on it.

I can always buy a Intrepid class just for flyin from system to system anywhey!

Intrepid can't utilize the abilities of a tactical captain to the fullest extent honestly. Yea you'll hit harder in bursts, but overall, the Defiant is a much...much...MUCH better class of ship vs the Intrepid for a tactical captain.

I have decided to get the Tactical escort instead of the intrepid class! Okay the intrepid looks beautiful but i`m not a science officer so I can`t utilise all it`s abilities! I`d rather go guns blazing than have asthertical looks like a hooker!

Yeah I would also suggest Defiant. It's what I'll do for my Tac Alt. Although my main ran around in an Intrepid/Nebula when she was Captain. Oh and for the "titles" just keep posting and you'll be, 'promoted.'

I had no choice but to grave dig a thread on the failfiant. I do not see why people love this fail of a ship when it just dies and has no damage, I wish I had picked a galaxy, at least than I could do space missions again

You rise in rank with the number of posts you make. You can't change your rank manually.
