Good news ... I can live with the Nagus Dailies or similar ... small patrol type missions that are more than blowing up a single target without reason.
Same here I generally like the Nagus dailies.

the really fun part? the NWN code apparently scales rewards based on what you do in a mission. so when that eventually gets here even those will be useless.

I don't think they'll be useless, they'll still count for the Investigate Officer Reports daily. The mission reward will jsut be smaller.

yeah but the qualifiers had better be really good, if it's fleet action style you'll see escorts running around nuking mass quantaties of stuff put in missions explicitly for eople to grind on. though it would be fun to re-fight some Dominion war actions as a fleet :p.
the accolade grind missions work nicely for that sort of thing. have a 5 man team and fight an entire ARMADA of enemy ships!
Good point Zorbane, but I suspect that if they finish implementing a system that give foundry misisons real rewards, they might ditch the daily wrapper mission.

Sounds like a Foundry mission!
Your Chief Entertainment Officer has informed you that he's installed a new holoprogram titled "Sacrifice of the Angels" which features "Operation Return" the battle between the Federation-Klingon-Romulan Alliance and the Dominion Alliance when DS9 was retaken.
EDIT: Actually making it that obvious might break the EULA but you get the idea

I'd be fine with this as long as the Foundry missions give dilithium.
Ok I did the spotlight on Tribble. It had a few minor typos and one annoying mission bug but was otherwise ok. The spotlight mission itself DID give me expertise, but only expertise for completing it. Presumably it was attempting to do the standard skill/points expertise thing, but I was a VA.
The daily for doing the spotlight gave me 2 more stacks of expertise and a "mystery item" which turned out to be a phased weapon box.
EDIT: oh yeah.... completing the spotlight did NOT give me credit towards "Investigate Officer reports".

And why should it give anything else?

Working as intended.

None do, on the bright side it means this will perhaps not being shoved into Holodeck until its fixed first.
I doubt they'll be inclined to give specifics anytime soon. I'm sure by now they're tired of people complaining about the "MOAR GRIND = MOAR CONTENT" they're trying to sneak in.
I look at what was on foundry board on both sides left very little to pick from. Currently there only one kdf mission that made past review stand but time was one hour, and stf had 5 most that passed the test were older stories from while back
