Some characters were stuck in a loading screen with a "Server Not Responding" message
I was wondering if this is a glitch or has more to do with ship skins.
Well I bought the Maelstrom class fleet escort "skin" way back when. So when I heard that they were making it the new "fleet patrol escort" I was thinking NICE!
To my surprise I have to pay full price for the fleet patrol escort. What's the deal?
Do we only get the discount if we bought an actual ship or does skins count as well?
Does any one else who has this "skin" also have the full price listed for it?
I'm the original @Gurga, accept no substitute. I would have used my handle but, that would have been too much to ask. Seeing as I use it for every other forum I visit.

You had the maelstrom skin. But that still doesn't change what you were flying. You were still flying the "Patrol Escort" (blockade escort back then I believe). The Fleet Patrol Escort is a 10 console ship with a different BOff setup from the regular 9 console Patrol Escort. Roughly translated: different ship entirely from what you already own, so yes, pay full price.
It is said the best weapon is one that is never fired. I disagree. The best weapon is one you only have to fire... once.

It was originally called the Fleet Escort, it was changed S6 so there would be no confusion with the Fleet Ships. Blockade was the beta name, and later changed to Patrol. I still find myself calling it a Fleet escort at times tho. lol
