And lets be honest, they could just take an existing ship model and tack it to a Vesta game mechanic and we would be happy. Make it a brace of Corsair variants, but no new skin until enough sell to justify it, then throw a new skin together and give it to anyone with the Corsair (sekretly a Vesta) ships. Done.

Heck, just make it a silver color material option or something, viola, we have a Vesta. Who cares if things don't quite line up right on the model at first, fix it later when we buy them.

If they really wanted to insight some Fed rage whilst at the same time showing some serious KDF love, they've give us a sci-based Mogai that has been "reclaimed" after further negotiations with D'Tan blah blah whatever.

KDFs with Rommie ships and nothing for Fed side but Vesta? Sounds like fair compensation, AND it's minimal legwork, just requires taking the existing Mogai model and making it sellable.

Yeah, KDF got shafted. Again. And the feds don't care. Again. In fact, I bet if you gave the KDF a ship as powerful as the Vesta is projected to be, there will be an uproar on the fed side. Guarantee.

And I bet... the next KDF ship will be... A LOCKBOX SHIP. And available to your local cry-babi... erm feds. And of course... not available to your local KDF players.

Do not lump all Federation players in the same instance that we don't care. I play Federation side specifically because the KDF side doesn't suite the way that I like to play. But that doesn't mean I don't care at all, far from it. I love the series Klingons, I love the culture, the background, the way they act, talk, and think. I just prefer to play around with the Federation ships as I grew up with Trek and like the look, feel, and way that the Federation characters play.

I see it as a completely moronic move to ignore the KDF players as they have been. The Vesta AND Steamrunner classes released on the same day? Seriously? We could have gone months without the Steamrunner, it should have been a KDF science ship or even a Vesta comparable pack or.....something!

Not all Fed players "don't care", know that you have allies on the Fed side that are just as upset as you guys are with how the KDF is treated.

Given the comparative number of these 'nobody loves us' threads (some justified, but still), I'm not sure its wise to be calling Fed players the whiners.

No, the Klingon side are very justified in voicing their complaints. Whining is when you have something but you didn't get all that you wanted, or you want more. The KDF have so little that it's not classified as whining and GIMMIE GIMMIE GIMMIE, it's classified as their attempt at getting a fair amount of content for their side just as the Fed side has. It's completely understandable.

I did say some of it was justified. However, blaming and hating on the Fed players, who aren't the ones responsible, doesn't accomplish anything and merely breeds animosity. My point is that there are so many threads that are nothing but anger and self-pity, and that accomplishes nothing.

Frankly I'd rather get rid of people like that from the community as they do nothing more than piss off the KDF side. We should have a united front, both KDF and Fed side demanding more KDF content.
