I am a big flight sim geek...since FS4. Currently running FSX. I built my computer for FSing. I have been trained and licensed in the real world to fly, but it costs so much to keep doing it, I haven't been 'current' for a few years. FSX does help me keep my skills sharp, such as instrument approaches, proceedures, decision making...etc.
For those who don't know, FSX and related flight sims has a big user community with lots of 3rd party developers addons with aircraft and scenery. It can be as simple or complex as you make it. It is kind of like a computerized hobby of model railroading. You build your rig, you build up your collection of airplanes and scenery, interact with it.
Anyway, shout out to any other FSers who hang out here.
