After two hours of patching the game now crash's on login. I've tried verifying files and no joy same issue every time.

Heres the error message i get

fatal error: direct3d driver returned error code
(dxgi_error_device-removed) while creating a texture.

Technical details: dxtgi_error_device_removed while creating 2d texture size 4096 x 1 (1 mips, rtex_r_f32), 1.31 GB RAM 1.44 GB virtual space available

I've tried reinstalling direct X but no help.

Any ideas?

well after checking all drivers for my graphics card etc the game now gets past the cryptic loading screen then just goes black. After a few minutes i get an error saying the grapics card has failed to respond and recovered.
Looking around the forum it looks like a problem people came accross during testing. Looks like i can't play anymore until this gets fixed.

I've been suffering with both the above errors, really wanting to get one of the Vesta's but obviously not going to until I can play the game again. I tried rolling back the NVIDIA driver but no success. When I can get on it just lags so much after a couple of minutes. This is across Tribble and Holodeck.
