The artwork looks great in both still shots and the games common graphics.

I like the little nuances added to fill at the visual aspects of the game.

The Hegh'Ta Bird of Prey is great. It flies and behaves just as one would expect.

The Defiant-R is great as well.

Many things that STO has are excellent and the fault in the game lies in numerous tweaking to erase bugs that otherwise spoil the game.

Now all we need is a linear story for teh factions that ties back to the main story and this beast may be ready for release.

So, if I understood that. You are happy with how it was, are encouraged when bugs get fixed and have no opinion on the currant S7 additions other than art.. which you like..

STO has always been pretty. I want it to be fun and fair to all. Which currently it most certainly is not.

STO looks good

It has many little things that helps immersion if you spot them ingame.

The Devs designed the Bird of Prey very well to get the feel of what one is like.
The Devs designed the Defiant-R very well to get the feel of what one is like.

It could be a better game if the bugs would be fixed and balanced

Drastically lacking in linear story that immerses the player in the game and invests said player into continuing to play as STO grows.

And I had to spend time to think of the things I like about STO versus what things make it less appealing.

It's always easier to see what you dislike vs what you like, especially if you've been playing for a while. Same thing goes with resisting changes.

Check out my Foundry missions:
Standalone - The Great Escape - The Galaxy's Fair - Purity I: Of Denial - Return to Oblivion
The Defenders - Duritanium Man - The Improbable Bulk - [WIP] Commander Rihan

yea but when you have a high end pc (amd 7970 is a high end graphics card) and you get http://imageshack.us/f/827/screenshot2012111520123.jpg/ at highest settings you CAN't miss that even if you try and want.I dont even miss the dilithium as much as the damn textures in game.

You really think that was the issue....a bit naive...STFs were empty completely even on queue due to the dil inflation. Hope the new patch will resucitate more needed activity on them

Don't you worry, OP. DStahl and company are doing their best to weed out the undesirable elements from the playerbase so you can have a more pure game.

Vaseline not included.

A list of things I like, eh?

Well give it a go...
1: Story missions:
- Nice storyline, good balance (can be completed in any ship with equal effectiveness, like to see that kept in endgame)
2: Fleet system
- Gives inter-player communication (A little grindy but overall good, adds another element to the game though)
3: Change character function
- Saves time swapping to a more suited skill-set
4: Graphics
- Absolutely wonderful
5: Dilithium exchange
- Reinforces free to play (Would be better if dilithium were more easily acquired)
6: Space travel/combat
- Travel is brilliant and times are realistic
- Combat is good (Would like to be able to roll and loop as it would add another level of realism to the game)

This said there are a few things that I think need work
1: Availability of dilithium (Due to the dilithium cost of playing)
2: Ground combat (Space is great just that ground needs to be brought up to the same level)
3: The game engine (It's hard to work effectively when you have to repeatedly request the activation of skills and wait a few seconds to see if it has even registered)
4: Endgame content (Needs a lot of work, it strays too far from the story content balance and frankly damage sponges aren't difficult, they just make escorts the only practical ship to use)
5: On the subject of endgame and difficulty the AI needs improving.

And I think I'm done

You addressed your thread to "those who will whine". What sort of a response were you expecting from that?

I had the texture issue as well, it can be fixed by going into video settings>troubleshooting and setting the video memory setting to 1024mb+ (at the very bottom of troubleshooting menu).
