the abilities don't really have anything to do with physical bridge stations, they are the capability of your ship. escorts are overloaded with equipment to make their firepower as strong as possible, wile cruisers are overbuilt defensive equipment. the station setup is representative of how your ship was built and set up.
no i was speaking in terms of how it would be with officers and ships in non-game situations. Realistically abilities on a star-ship would only be limited by the ship's, and officer's, limitations. So your reaction to having an extra commander universal station seems strange. Be thankful its unique

thanks to the shuttle i guess, my steamy has an extra sci commander station, all the station powers that the officer assigned to my shuttle has. a second HE, an TB, TSS3, and TBR3, a skill the steamy should never be able to use with its station setup. if i swapped that shuttle user with an officer with DEM3, i would out damage a decloaking fleet defiant almost assuredly. EWP would be hilarious too. aw well, it should be fixed, a whole extra commander universal is just silly.
That could be it I guess but with 4 something powers that is a hell of a KDF shuttle. When does it hit the store. I would gladly shuttle warz in it.

Is this what that bug was? I can't lie, there's a certain appeal about running VM3 on a Steamie. lol
It sounds like its achieved in a different way, but yes, voldemort was a bug where all of a boff's abilities were unlocked when you equipped them. It's one more bug that cryptic has had the lack of ability to squash. I'm assuming its something locked deep in the coding that they can't seem to figure out or root out
There was a guy running around in a defiant a couple of months ago with EWP3, so the original bug is still around as well as this new horcrux
all of you should get this, to ether suport more canon ship like this getting added, or becase its a fleet level ship thats an acount wide unlock that only costs $10, till after the 15th, so buy it NOW. it currently suffers a problem, its shield mod in game right now is .7, the very worst shield mod of any ship in the game. but, soon it shale be fixed, and it will have a bug like 1.0 shield mod. it has 34500 hitpoints, or 400 more then a fleet patrol, and an interesting 2 LT eng and 1 ENS sci station setup. heres a build that has worked for me wile this ships shield mod is poor.
this ship is adventures in hull tanking, because your shields are like paper and have no noticeable regeneration. so just use the borg shield, you get a tractor beam and shield regeneration and the capacity isn't much worse then a maco. i would suggest running with 100/25/25/50 power so your hull heals are always as strong as possible. you will be quite surprised just how durable your hull will be wile your shields are completely down. i actually could tank a torp using defiant and beat him, his torps and everything else doing little damage. i'll edit this later when the ship is fixed, im thinking i will try this build
