You guys are out of your mind. S7 is about the most hostile action I've ever seen a game company take against its players.

I don't think I'll be able to afford Season 8

Yeah, it's pretty terrible. Costs of old things have skyrocketed, and more than that they took away everything you had saved up and are holding it ransom.

The cost on Mk X and XI gear is entirely too high. As someone else said, it's a system designed to fleece the impatient.

Also had to quote. I think 'hostile' is the only way to describe the way they treat the playerbase now.
It bothers me because first of all, I've supported STO for years now and more importantly, I enjoy it. I don't mind paying for things but I don't want things locked away behind gambling systems and grinds.
People warned that pwe would run sto into the ground for an eastern grindfest due to being out of touch with western markets, and it seems they were correct.
