Do U guys have the shuttle selected as a secondary ship? Because it started to happen to me since I selected default small craft. I died 3 times in an Stf in a patrol escort where it did not happen to me before.

I'm all for missions being challenging, but I should not have to die 18 times in an STF for it to be considered challenging.

In all actuality, I should be able to, with heals and buffs, keep my ship alive for an entire STF without having to worry about every ship out there popping CritDx10 plasma torps on me and frying me instantly. Over and over and over again...

For those of us who play this game to have fun, dying over and over under the guise of "challenging" is not my idea of fun at all.

yeah I dont mind getting killed, but I would like the chance to actually survive a few times.

The small ship selection is bugged as hell, but I don't think its the cause for this. Plenty of fleetmates didn't select a small ship to avoid the bugs and were getting killed by those crazy "normal" plasma torpedoes that do over 50K damage and insane plasma burn. My Ody. with the standard 4 rare neutronium mk xi consoles+ polarize hull active and with maxed out HP died of plasma DOT burn in less than 10 seconds because my hazard emitters were on cooldown. That is just wrong.
Maybe I should try the Aegis set again, that adaptive hull resist is looking really good now!

It's not only Borg problem, it affects players too. Today I deal critical hit for ~25k dmg from Dual Cannons. There must be some glitch in dmg formula.

So you are suggesting that any group of noobs with any random ship configuration should be able to walk into an Elite event and own the place? There's already a place for that. Normal STFs and pretty much every other area of this game. What do we need then for people who do want a challenge, Super Elite? And guess who will show up there and complain it's too hard.
Because being one shotted totally has to do with PUG combinations.

I honestly don't know what you are all on about. I just did 3 more Elites with some of the noobiest noobs you would ever want to be teamed with (they tried so hard to fail Cure) and I died a grand total of one time. And that was due to me soloing the Tactical Cube on Khitomer, as everyone was getting coffee or something and I didn't feel like waiting.

And again, this is a Tactical Captain in a Raptor. The weakest ship I have defensively. According to the posts here, I should have died 18 times on Cure alone, as I was being attacked by Negh'vars, Raptors and BoPs simultaneously.

Since I saw the Odyssey mentioned, I took that out for another Elite PUG tour. And since my only VA Fed is an engineer, it did not surprise me that I did not die once. I have twin FAW on it and I made sure to aggro the hell out of everything. On ISE, I sat right in the middle of all those spheres, hit FAW after FAW and DARED them to kill me.

Maybe I should go play the lottery. Apparently I'm very lucky.

No, because "PUG combinations" was the reason being given as to why Elite STFs should be easy.

I've been busting through every STF with no problem since S7. They haven't seemed all that OP.

Judging how all of you are complaining I gather 2 things.
1) you guys didn't play the STF's when they first came out and you did both ground and space at the same time, didn't have all the p2w stuff and it took even the most well organized and thought out groups 30 mins to do them.
2) you must be running builds from season 6. Read the patch notes and you will change a lot of your Boffs and doffs around. I'm using a pvp build and I have no issue soloing a cube in my little (non vesta) sci ship. Welcome to the way it used to be everyone hope you in joy it because I actually am. It's called a challenge its what makes endgame fun.
