Hey there! I'm Mike. I'm 39 and live in Maine with my wife and wonderful 5 year-old daughter Olivia.

Been playing STO less than a month now.

I used to be a hardcore Trekkie but over the past couple years, less and less. Now, I simply tolerate Trek as a series but always love the universe.

What made you lose love?
Hopefully I'll come back from my break; this break is fun; I play intellectual games.

That's Massachusetts, not Maine. About 150 miles difference.

Yeah, I've been in a fleet. Too bossy. "Go to Risa, wait for the order to beam down". Dude, it's a game. I do what I please.

Love to be on a team where we go to the same places and attack the same group in close formation...

I guess a good fleet would be okay too.

much too long a story.

Over the past few years, I've become more critically minded for better or worse. 88% of the stories in Trek (TV) are, to be very childish and badly written full of contradictions, not remembering what they did last week or just plain stupidity. The bulk of this was Voyager and Enterprise. TOS was the best followed by DS9, Next Gen and then the rest.

Like I said, too much to get into here and now. Maybe later I'll get into it.

Welcome aboard!

Enjoy the game and good luck finding a Fleet to join that helps your game as well Don't read the boards too much, you'll learn to hate something
