I have a suggestion. Maybe we should have the elite stfs but on an easier mode where the mission is easier. We can even call them normal level stfs!

As for the people who get blown up, have you considered changing your boff build to fit the mission? Or the way you fly your ship? If you can play these elite stfs where some or all of your team don't get destroyed maybe it's something that you need to work on. I mean, if your team mate can last an entire match and not get destroyed maybe you should figure out what they're doing differently.

Become a better player and not make the game easier.

P.S. yes fix the invisible torp, it shouldn't be invisible

NO, it's BAD news-unless you only log to grind, anyway. for Grinders, it's good news, if you're actually into something OTHER than just running up quantities of numbers, the loss of challenge spec and reversion to "5 tacs in escorts faceroll all" is a disappointment.

do you know what aggro is? i dont think so because if you would know, you would also know that some player in your team who do not get destroyed have so few dps, that the borg dont even consider them a threat. those with much dps are usually escorts with a lower survivability that other ships. they get the whole range of weapons thrown at them while those odyseey cruisers just sit there with their lasers and think they do damage.

just back to pre-season 7 changes.

and for more OF a challenge, use a Tier 3 or 4 ship

I do find it somewhat frustrating when I am at full shields and hull and an invisible shot blows up my ship......

Apparently even spheres are capable of doing this now lol

I love how the righteous here are trying to lay some guilt on everyone else about lower the borg difficulty.

Here is the problem, the borg weren't intentionally buffed up, they are broken. If you are supporting a broken game mechanic you are doing the game a disservice. If the devs want to make the borg challenging then they have my approval, make them more intelligent with better DPS, but the one shot kills, and the shield bypassing damage is all broken and needs to go.

First of all I do think the invisible torp should be visible.

Second of all I wonder how many of you complaining are failing the optional on these stf runs. If you're still making the optional what's the real issue? Having to spend some components?

In the stfs, there are probably two threats that can one shot you, CSE negh'vars and the gates. Flying a temporal destroyer, a negh'var does about 50% hull damage to me with isometric, and I can tank/solo the gates in KASE/ISE with full weapon power flying in the middle of the gate.

The bosses, donatra has it's way of one shotting you but they're avoidable. Either move out of the thaleron weapon, or brace for impact/increase shield defenses when you see those plasma spreads coming.

I've seen many stfs where some people don't even know how to redistribute their own shields, or where teammates don't cross heal. If you're going into an stf you should have atleast one copy of hazard emitters, I run two.
