# 1 Give me battle damage!

I bring this up about once a year. Guess I'm the geeky minority lol. Cryptic has made some awesome battle damage on our ships! But it heals like a Borg ship before our eyes! In the shows we have had great examples of continued battle damage. Enterprise, Voyager & Star Trek 2 & 3. All had battle damaged ships that lasted more than one episode. "Movie".

Let us keep our battle damage until we repair or die & respawn. Just a wish

I always hoped they would add some visual element to ship injuries, that go away once you repair them.

That would actually be pretty cool.

I think the idea of persistent battle damage at least from general combat is impractical, but injuries do stick around...so..yeah, +1 for that.

Don't some of the ships that were here since launch have battle damage? I remember having a damaged ship based on low hull strength months ago.

It's kinda like character death- doesn't happen.

Your cruisers engine gets blown off during battle only to magically respawn during battle, instead of you being towed back to spacedock for a refit.

This is an easy mode MMO, remember ?
