Consider putting many different images on rotation for the Front Page.

Leave the Boobie Elf there for all the man children who want it, but rotate it with images that are more ... TREK in feel. Starships !! Other races that aren't pretty (tellerites, Bolians) ... something to show the KDF.

Eh, I think the art is fine. If she was a super-hero or something she'd fit right in. If I had to critique I'd say the mouth is a bit gerber-baby-like, which makes it a creepy, and the stance is awkward. Is she looking at us? What's she shooting at? Why is she falling/floating down with her hair blowing sideways?

But that's small stuff, overall I think the art is fine. It just doesn't fit.

I like the background stuff though!

This is now my wallpaper. For science.

That scene was groan-inducing when it originally aired. Those of us who are not teenage boys saw it for what it was -- a shameless, plot-bending attempt to bring sex into Star Trek -- to "appeal" to a new demographic.

And even if you approve of that scene, T'Pol is NOT in combat, and not in uniform. She is in her underwear. And she never showed the kind of cleavage shown in this wallpaper while on duty.

Disrespectful on many levels.

Which is sad, because for any other IP, this artwork is beautiful and amazing.

But as I wrote in another thread, inappropriate for any officer in the line of duty. Would it really have been that hard to release a version with her uniform closed? It's bad enough that she's depicted as a E cup. Must you show so much skin as well?
