One of the missions received, asks the player to go to his/her ship, and scan for radiation at four specific areas in the New Romulus Space system. When I went through this, i started from the original spawn point on the map, and worked around them counter-clockwise.

The first 2 areas, and the fourth, apparently, scanned automatically just by reaching the area, and gave a small text box fly-by saying the scan was completed, and cleared the highlighted area from the map, without giving credit on the 0/4 counter in the mission tracker. The third area, cleared the highlighted area from the map when i reached it, but gave no text box fly-by, or any credit in the counter. The Office Of The Watch NPC also, does not count it as being complete.
