I think having another ship named Enterprise is fantastic! It's a proud name with a proud history and its a name worth having on any ship.

Of all of the characters, why him? Aside from the fact that I always thought Chekov's character was a joke, someone speaking with a thick Russian accent commissioning an American warship would seem a bit off.

May this new Enterprise serve as long and as distinguished as her predecessors, too bad the old girl has to be scrapped, but getting rid of 8 nuclear reactors creates a hell of a problem.

If only we had the Technology to fly her into the Sun....That would be a fitting end then being scraped.
