Well, It is Fixed! Mancon you sussed it!!!!.
I had an open fleet invite that was currupting the promotion. I tried everything you all suggested and i want to say thanks for all of your advice.

It was my 1st time asking anything on Star Trek Forums so i can only appologise if this caused merging of topics ect or slowed anything down. I am really impressed with the level of responce i recieved from everyone so thanks again, we got there in the end and it was fixed by forum advice.

Remember all, dont leave fleet invites open! guess thats my lesson anyway.
I must go now as atlast i have the galaxy to explore... but as a Captin!

No worries at all, glad one of them was weeded out. (Also means that whatever Viper has isn't spreading, that was the fear I had. ^^)

Its been more than one month, my support ticket has been open longer than 30 days and i still have received zero response... either admit you have no idea and can't fix my problem and give me some compensation like another char at max rank + 1000 cryptic points, or you give me some kind of response as to when i can expect some time this year the problem getting fixed?

Ask for Fleet Admiral rank!!! Be the only one for awhile. At this point i'd submit another ticket and all.

The process as I understand it is that if tickets get to a certain age, (3 days??), with no additional feedback from the Customer, they are "Auto-Closed" by the system, due to inactivity. You should consider, if you have not already done so, Re-Editing the Ticket every Two or Three days, if for no other reason, just to say something like:

"This Problem is still Present, Is there a resolution yet?".

That will keep your ticket on the Active Problem list as long as you keep doing that.

Necroing my thread and submitting another gm ticket, because this issue is still outstanding and has not been fixed, even with s5 changes and respecing into the new tree i have the exact same problem.

I can't access LG rank, still can't buy LG ships, still says im MG6 even when i have the exact number of skillpoints earned and spent required to reach LG,

still being ignored by cryptic ...

I am having the same issue of not being able to Rank up to Captain, says 173,000 required and I have 200,500 spent. Also I might add I was already a captain its been some time since I last played. When I logged in my screen was going crazy with mission exp and what not. Its funny bc I have the captain rank tactical ship and my char and my ship both have captain gear and items equipment. But says I'm only level 33 commander. My blue exp and yellow rank bars are both full to the max but cannot rank up. Have and in game ticket in and a support ticket in and to my dismay have heard nothing back at all not even an automated response. poor poor customer service.

I am the original poster of this thread and yes my character is still broken.

I made multiple threads, and all the in game support tickets i submitted where either ignored or given the run around, 1 of them was finally replied to saying they would investigate the problem and nothing happened after that.

I don't play this game anymore, but you're wasting your time looking for help. They failed to fix my issue or offer compensation, and id be surprised if anything has changed.

oh yeah another one of my threads, read the last post by the gm for epic lolz.

"Viper, things will be taken care of, and as soon as they can"

As in, here's our spin and thread lock while we sweep you under the rug. 1 of the many reasons why i dont play this game anymore.

Well I'm starting to see what you mean Viper. Its been days now with no ticket response. I am now a commander (37) still unable to rank up. Yellow bar is full I have spent 238,500 points almost rear admiral rank and still wont even let me rank to captain. I was level 32 Captain long ago b4 all the changes. I still have my captain rank tactical ship all items on my ship and my char are rank of captain. I even tried purchasing a CStore re spec token to see if that would fix the issue. To my dismay it was a no go. It would just be nice to get a response from 1 of my tickets. I've had 1 open on support and via in game for days now. If nothing else hoping maybe a Vet player has some insight to this.
