I know this might seem like nit-picking, but every time I cross from Sirius to Regulus in a 3 o'clock / eastward direction, my ship emerges on the other side facing 12 o'clock / north. My ship crosses vast interstellar space flying sideways Monty-Python style.

How about correcting this "bug" or oversight by having all ships zoning into new sector maps using their original directional heading? Or at least point the ship so that its aft end faces the zone line it just crossed? This should be an easy fix for a bug that has existed since game launch.

Might be just them countering all the slipstream buffs there are in the game for Tour of the Universe

It's the same thing with the Iota Pavonis/Alpha Centauri border. When you enter Alpha Centauri from Iota Pavonis, your ship spawns as if it is leaving Alpha Centauri and entering Iota Pavonis! XD

This character is why I don't play my Romulan any more. Tovan Khev is NOT my BFF! Get him off my bridge!

Just checking if there are any official replies from Cryptic stating whether or not this bug will ever be fixed... The solution seems so easy...

Cryptic is only a few miles from my location, so maybe I should send them a holiday card mentioning this thread
