I'm genuinely surprised he didn't say to add 7 tac slots and 1 sci/eng slot.

The devs have specifically stated in the past that 5 forward facing weapons are currently not supported by the ship framework engine. Even if it were, escorts already roast ships running 4 Dual Heavy cannons. Do we really want to give them 5? And a escort with cruiser level hull and shields (*cough* bug ship *cough*), but with battle cloak (overpowered if you do this). On top of that you want to give it Lt. Commander Engineering? The ship would be close to invincible. You realize that any escort with battle cloak is going to have to take a major hull penalty for balancing reasons. Bird of Prey are already a pain to kill in PvP due to their battle cloak. The one advantage escorts have over them is the fact that a fully buffed Beam Overload III can kill them in one shot. Double the bird of prey's hull and they would destroy everything.

Neither the Dreadnaught or Tactical Escort Retrofit can cloak "at will". It can only cloak out of Red Alert status.

the bridge officers are the same of the armitage ...
the console slots are balanced ...

what do you think about the KDF ship that thourgh the siege mode can divert all the weapons to fore weapons ?

The Guramba can't do that. It has the same weapon slots as a regular escort: 4 forward, 3 aft.

It is the only ship that has Siege mode. Did you read all of the links that I posted?

In short, Siege mode simply reroutes power from the engines to the weapons and gives it the ability to drain power from it's target.

That power can be used for the Javelin, which reverts the ship back to normal mode.

There's nothing in the description that says all of the aft weapons become fore weapons.
