Not only you messed big time with season 7 launch which was months too early and full of bugs but it seems your account rubbish merger nonsense was another fiasco as if season 7 wasn't big enough clue that you're messing things up big time.


i can see this game going downhill from now on as many players will leave in draws, you've lost half with launch of season 7, which at best is a fiasco, I personally consider it a con-man job, especially when it comes to conversion rates and many like me who never read your stupid forum were left out in a ditch not knowing what mess you're cooking next.

CBS will hear of this, as I'll be defo contacting them now, and just in cause you think what CBS got to do with this, they are the guys that own the franchise, anything to do with the Star Trek, and you're ruining the name of Star Trek with your actions. Perpetual owns the engine, and I'm sure there are plenty of developers out there who would love to do star trek franchise and take over just in cause you think you are safe to rip off ppl the way you do...



I'm beyond angry how I've been treated by you ppl, was this any other mmo.

I have exactly the same problem..

the process of merging was overly complicated and confusing ....

i sent in numerous tickets before the final merging process was implemented today and had no help or response other than for the ticket i had issued this morning....

sooooo my 2 year cryptic/lifer account didnt link properly too my pwe account... and it looks like i have lost everything ....

not very impressive is it really if this is how you look after your dedicated players.. so new players bare this in mind before you part with a bloody penny

But having said the above i will retract everything i have said and implied should the issues i have be resolved and i get all of my cryptic chars back and my lifer status.....

don't, just contact CBS, if many contact CBS, PW will be out of game permanently, with new Star Trek film coming out in may, I am peaty sure CBS won't risk angering its fan base. often they retract when many fans write in or stage a massive action....

I think i will wait before taking any further action.... sh*t happens sometimes and as long as people are willing to help im ok with that....

But.... should nothing happen.. then i will firstly take legal advice from my barrister... asking them to look into the problem and get them to contact trading standards here in the UK ..... then take the issue further with having them talk to any relevant media companies....

In the mean time.... i'll just wait... it is a distinct possibility I may of actually made a **** up my self during the merging process that is something i am open to

If anyone was still using their Cryptic account, after they made that announcement, you only have yourselves to blame. Everyone had a six months notice to get things sorted out.

A good point but neither cryptic or pwe replied for 3 months to help with my own merging problem... not even an auto reply until today i sent another ticket.... they seemed to of mysteriously disappeared

I have no sympathy. Cryptic/Perfect World gave everyone enough notice.

People need to take some responsibility.

You should have called customer service on day one.

You waited.

You did read my posts properly didnt you ?

Customer service could have taken care of this within five minutes.

I called them with issues in the past, and customer service had no problem helping.

Sending tickets gets you nowhere. We all know that by now.

Brandon, these steps didn't work for a friend of mine. The problem turned out to be related to the account login. If you enter an invalid account info, or otherwise end up on the PW incorrect login page by some other means, the account linking won't work.

To anyone else having the same problem, you need to log in with a working PW account then log out, or completely reset your session before attempting to link your account. If you don't, the process will not link your account properly and you will end up in some kind of a linking loop that can't be completed without CS help.
