Let's see:
1. "Portable" transporter pad (examples can be seen at Nukara)
2. Federation wall banner (the big one, at least)
3. Big, larger empty cave
4. Lights with actual dynamic lighting (besides the candlesticks) so custom interiors can have semi-realistic lighting.
5. Jupiter 3 Uniform

1: The ability to spawn turrets on maps, or the ability to turn an NPC ship into a turret.
2: Friendly combat NPCs from other factions (i.e., friendly Romulan ships without them being reskinned Fed/KDF).
3: Hologram NPCs (either as a costume option or mobs with editable skins).
4: The ability to save a costume in the normal game, and import it as a Foundry costume.
5: The Galaxy-X as an actual ship, instead of just a skin.

Runners-up (not on list because they might qualify as features instead):
-The ability to determine BOff powers, weapons, and DOff abilities of mobs.
-Cutscenes.
-The ability to edit terrain (i.e., add a cave to a map).

As of Season 7 you can already do that.

I hit a problem where I really wanted a rather clean, simple small space, but everything I could find either had loads of props or absurdly high ceilings. Thankfully, the way lighting works, a platform to cut the ceiling down and some walls to block the rest of the complex works fine. It's slightly darker, but that actually works for what I'm doing. The map looks goofy, but whatever.

I also considered making an 'indoor map' constructed in the same outdoor map you start in, but floating 500 units above. If you make it JUST high enough, the ceiling would get cut off and you could the interior in map. Yay!
Eeeeexcept the outdoor map I'm using has snow baked into the map. Sigh.
That's fine, you don't have to watch it. But, I do think it probably would end up saving you time if you do decide to make a custom interior. I'm not just trying to pimp my work.

Anyway, good luck in your efforts.
