I like this clip because it shows what actual starship operations are like without the computer doing all the work. Everything's manual, and the crew is actually calling out sequences. This is very similar to real-life maneuvers on a modern day submarine, and in my opinion, this is one of the most technical, but most "correct" moments in all of Star Trek.
Defiant's shake-down cruise, post-computer-failure. One of my favorite moments in Trekdom.
I usually watch this after I tweak a new escort build.

"Cryptic, people still can't connect and play STO because of cogentco ISP issues. WE CAN'T GIVE YOU MONEY IF WE CAN'T EVEN PLAY."
This clip was kind of touching to me because it really reminded me of the love/hate relationship I have with my own brother, especially around the time this episode first came out.
When TNG first aired I didn't like Picard as much as Kirk. But in this scene he's just plain awesome.
Then again there's always this one. Star Trek is full of brash Captains. Brash Lieutenants are fun too. I wonder if the writers knew what BOHICA means.
In my mind after all these years, I still seriously believe that Kirk didn't steal her, but she silently willed them all on, to find a lost member of her crew, a crew who cared and loved her as much as she did them, and treated her more than just a lady.
Bet the Excelsior was pissed thou. But she forgave them later.
