W...t...f... looks like my RSV has mold. The Fleet material makes it look bit hideous. The green sections look very randomly placed. I hope that's not the final appearance on Holodeck. Note the lack of engine trail change. No deflector effect either (NB: I turned off shadows for this ss, since I was getting bad striping while in motion) Looks better on the Intrepid, but still kinda ugly (imo). Would be nice if the whole ship went Romulan green instead. Might look nicer on dark coloured KDF ships? I don't have any of the Nausicaan ships or the Kar'Fi to really test it though. I have put it on a basic Klingon ship, you barely even notice the difference if using the base green material.
Adapted MACO and KHG space sets do not have any difference in appearance - Adapted MACO looks like MACO, Adapted KHG looks like KHG. This is fine.
Now for the good!
The Adapted MACO and KHG Ground Sets!
Disclaimer: These were taken by turning on the armour graphics, actual costume tailoring would produce different looks.
So there you go! Hopefully this gives everyone climbing the rep track something to look forward to. And if that is the final Romulan graphic, hopefully the warning saves you disappointment, or if it isn't, may you be pleasantly surprised!

Hmm... better than I thought they'd be - not crazy about the MACO Pulsewave though (looks like a nasty kitbash of the old Phaser Battle rifle).
I'd probably use the shoulder pads and the chest piece on my Fed (and the Pulsewave) but ignore the rest - it all looks a little clumsy.
I think the KHG set looks better (although the sniper rifle looks silly with a bayonet at the end of it) - boots and the bracers are good though - my Joined Trill will be very pleased (she can never have enough boots )

It looks a lot better on a Jem'hadar. Your ship might not be the best ship to show it off. I'll post a pic when I get home if I remember.

I went back and grabbed my LRSV out of mothballs and reset it to standard Intrepid design to test this - yes, the FRSV wasn't the best choice. Might be some bad interaction with the Fleet material or the hull pieces.
-edit- after a little further testing, yes, it is the Fleet material that's giving it that ugly mold green appearance. The placing of the green sections is very patchy and haphazard on the RSV in general though.
Just like the Reman set makes your ship metallic, the Romulan one should also cover the hull 100% with the typical Romulan hull texture. It looks really...odd...
But what does it look like on Klingon ships, I wonder...

Tried in on a Vor'cha with Veteran Skin.
It was barely nitceable.
On a grey K't'inga it looked kinda okay, but given the model is still f***ed up we'll have to wait until they switch the high- and lowres models back to see it in full detail.
