A Ship inferior in everyway is somehow superior? Logic isn't quite your strong suit, it would appear.

The Chimera far ecplises any of the Ships you mentionned, but hey, you can't even be trusted to read their stats, so I wouldn't expect good analysis from you.

IMO the Fleet version should stay Vet-Only. It would kind of be a slap in the face if free players can get the improved version of the ship without buying lifetime.

While I agree with this, I can't see them limiting their profits. They should just make the console built in, buff it to fleet standards, and give it 10 console slots total. Allow the use of the existing cloak console from the defiant/Galaxy x for those federation cloak supporters.

No. Lifetimers should get something utterly unique to acknowledge their significant investment in the game. You want a Chimaera, you buy LTS, period.

I'd like to point out again that I'm not a lifetimer. I don't benefit from this. It just makes business sense to reward customer loyalty.



Boff slots are unique and potentially very powerful. When I look at that ship I see an engineer in that LTC universal slot, turning it into a Federation battlecruiser that can out-maneuver and out-shoot the KDF's battlecruisers.

It probably should be a 5 module ship for non-vets minus the consoles and t4 or t5 shipyard so stays somewhat rare and helps keep vets happy that everyone wouldnt easily get one.

Imo, there are plenty of ships superior to the Chimera. However a Fleet version may very well be what is needed to bring out the true potential of a 1,000 Veteran ship with its unique abilities.
If they had intended for the Chimera to be a true Vet reward ship capable of being one of the best ships ingame, it would have had 10 consoles already.
