I thinking of building a Advanced Fleet Escort with my main whos a science captain. I aiming pure optimum DPS

Fore: quad cannons, 3 fleet phaser mk xii dhc [dmg]x3 [crth]
atf: 3 fleet mk xii phaser turrets [dmg]x3 [crth]
engine/deflector/shield all fleet ultra rare with shield/hull regen, turn speed, and shield cap in mind.
science: slots 3 shield gens
engineering: borg assim console and tach converter
tac: 5 relays

boff abilitys ? stuck would love some suggestions

doff: also would love some suggestions

Any feed back would be helpful thank you

I like mine setup. My toons are spec'd full of energy and projectile damage so I use them.

Three DHC, one torp (all of your choice...i choose disruptor, polarized disruptor and now the omega torpedo)

The rear can be either three turrets or two turrets and cutting beam.

Comm tac: Tac Team 1, Cannon Scatter Volley1, Torpedo Spread 3, Attack Pattern Beta 3
Lt Comm sci: Hazard emitters1, transfer shild strenghth 2, gravity well 1
lt tac: torpedo spread 1 or high yield 1 (depending on torpedo type...use hy1 with omega)
lt eng: emergency power to shields1, emergency power to weapons 2
ens: your choice...tac team 1 if you choose to not use the tac team doff cool down ability

i use adapted maco deflector and shields and will switch between romulan prototype engine, borg engine, and regular maco engine.

I am going to get the adapted maco engine in the future but not needed for your escort.

why the omega torpedo?


With 5 relays I would think that a turret would be a better choice then the cutting beam. 147 X 150% or 147 X 1.5 = 367 DPS the cutting beam only does 208 DPS right?

I like the BOFF ability set up and will give it a try.


What about DOFF set up?

Fore: 3 x DHC, 1 x Quantum Torpedo (or whatever you choose)
Aft: 3 x Turret

Cmd Tac: TT1, CRF1. TS3, CSV3
Lt Tac: TT1, APB1
Ens Tac: TS1
Lt Eng: EPtS1, RSP1
Cmd.Lt. Sci: TSS1, HE2, GW1

By all means not an optimal setup. The ship is very good for CC in the second stage of CSE - GW them and then just kill them.
DOFFs - I'm not sure what all of them are, but I know I have a breen shield distribution doff, borg projectile weapons doff, romulan gravimetrics scientist.....and the rest I'm not sure what they are..
you can omit all and replace them with whatever you feel is useful but the gravimetrics science doff.

Have You already got a look to Hilbert's Suggestion to start with? You could do a few improvements to it just to take advantage of the extra console and hull resistance..

What about DOFF set up?
Don't forget about two piece bonuses. The omega bonus is unlimited power for a couple of 2nds ... Which can be huge!

I leave it up to you....some really like the cutting beam...some don't. I do prefer it on a Breen sine it has four weps out back.

I am using a sensor scan doff, two that will regenerate shields with brace for impact, and left two of your choice. I have two tac team cool down doffs from other ships that I was too lazy to changeout.

Don't forget the gravity well doff as well. It's nice when three of the pop because of that doff.

Omega torpedo is really nice with torpedo spread 3 and high yield 1.

I noticed the hybrid plama disruptor cannons in hilberts set up, but have never seen those in real game. Are they still around?

Like the boff ability set up ... thx for the reference

Look on wiki for the Rom console. can't find it .. got a link?

Is there diminishing returns on Field gen?
