Why is it an escort with 200 or less crew can be pounded on, rocked, warp core breached and still come out with crew, not a lot but.. some. Take a ship with 750 crew or more and on the first couple long range torpedo hits you lose 400+ crew, over a fight you end up worse off than the escort, who can recover crew % better than a large crew ship. The entire system needs fixing, but it won't get fixed.
