ROFL... yeeeeah... I figured it would be pretty obvious considering how many of the bloody buggers are zipping around, but you never know XD.

And I do find it amusing how little love the MURSV and RSV get, considering they have wonderful BOff layouts, and great console layouts too. But you should try out the regular RSV. It has a smaller crew, but it's turn rate and inertia are actually a little better. I have a FRSV, and holy ballz that thing is amazing. It's damage output and drain ability is great, even with BOffs setup to run a cruiser.

Anyways, I found another one I rather like:

Tactical: 3, 2
Engineering: 4, 1
Science: 2

Well then its a Fleet Vorcha... that is the kind of fleet cruiser the Federation needs. It has one boff slot better than the Fleet Assault and 3 more turn rate. Sigh.

My perfect layout would be:

Tac: 3
Eng: 4, 2
Sci: 2, 1

Though I have yet to find one (that is affordable) that has that layout

Very close to Fleet/Retro Excelsior. Swap out that eternally hated ensign engi for an ensign sci and you have what you want.

Fleet Excel is what I have, Polarise hull to go with HE, TSS and Aux2SIF

Oh if only...

I used to not like the Tactical Escort Retrofit BOFF layout because I use all cannons, and I was wasting the 3rd ensign slot.

However, now that I have access to the Romulan Tactical BOFF with the Covert Operative trait, I now love the BOFF layout. Even if the 3rd Ensign BOFF ability is wasted.
