Maybe we could even take this idea a step further and try to get as many players as possible onboard with such a ruleset and encourage players to fly these setups in the regular queues.

Maybe give a ship that is set up this way an oldschool -CLA- (or -S1.2- or something) tag as part of the ship name, so that one can see whether one is fighting a classic team?

This is a good way to show Cryptic we refuse to be party to there horrid design decisions from the last 2 years. Any arguments we get into as a community may catch flame due to our nature as pvp people... however the spark is ALWAYS some terrible design issue... isn't it.

I agree we could simply provide a list of approved ships.

We could even just make it a Mirror ship tourney... they gave us 2 mirror cruisers 2 mirror sci and 1 escort at least in the raptor.

With limits on the ships and all consoles... we can then pretty much say all boff skills are fair game and really there shouldn't be any issues.

I can agree to this as long as ALL cannons are banned as well as people are limited to using Ens and LT abilities on ships ONLY. If you cannot agree to this then NONE of you are really serious about this.

i don't see why the mirror qin or vorcha, or vorcha R couldn't be allowed if the fed mirror are.

maybe even the not op c store ships pre odyssey and pre F2P. like the excel, vulcan, nebula, dreadnought, galaxy, defient, intrepid, gurumba, gorn sci, orian cruiser, and MVAM. but anything with a special console should not be able to use it, maybe even no phaser or disruptor lance

i would say NO sets, ether weapon, consoles or equipment, and no lobi items. but any standard weapon, console, and equipment, even purple mkXII. making people top out at purple mkX is kinda unreasonable.
