There has been a report from a player that the Oddyssey saucer kept AMSing even after removing the console (even deleting it from all ships on all toons), but as far as I know there has only been this one player who said he encountered the problem.
Usually the saucer only AMSes if you have the console equipped.

For boff powers the romulan ships use, I'd much rather see tykens or gravwell than VM. Or hell, have them use aceton beam or the like.

VM is a very, very strong power, that should not be appearing on 'allied' NPC ships during pvp.

That's not me saying that the romulan reinforcements shouldn't be 'good', just that they shouldn't have Viral Matrix.

Thats one reason I can't really get into fed side the pets their from the galaxy to the multi vector are like "glass figurines" making the whole point of using those iconic abilities from the series fall upon the useless not to mention pets don't really do much energy damage anymore which is less than a player with 1 turret.

While you're at it, I hope you discover for yourself what a useless piece of crap the Fleet Galaxy-R is.

The MVAM ability is far from useless, it's just that its utility has nothing to do with the pets, but is all about the benefits the different modes offer instead. I think this is a good thing though, because whatever the source, the last thing PvP needs is more numerous and/or more durable pets.

Which gets back to the original topic, creating increasingly better NPC support ships is another chip away from what should be a purely PvP experience in Arena matches. Combine this with other silly changes where every ship class gets to be a carrier, even if its an escort, and you end up with matches where NPCs can vastly outnumber the actual players and it can feel more like PvE than PvP at times. While I'm sure others will disagree, I think PvP should stay about player on player interaction and any change that increases the influence of NPCs and pet spam on it is a change for the worse.

They don't use these powers upon warp-in? Can only be used at x percentage? Stay around for X amount of time, and has to engage an enemy in X amount of time?

How about you do nothing and stop trying to balance the game around the farce that is PVP in STO.

Getting really sick of cool things in pve being nerfed to uselessness cos of the wants of a few pvpers.

And I'm sick and tired of things being added into the game jus because "it sounds cool" with no first thought to the ramifications to actual gameplay.

The Multi vector consle actually allows you to be more manoeuvrable than the bug (excuding RCS consoles, that the bug can use more of). And you can in theory stay that way indefinitely, except... if you pop, you loose that turn rate for a long time.

And btw. in PvE, the damage of pets is actually not that bad. They just use it badly and explode easily (not saying they need to be buffed in survivability).
TOIVA, Toi Vaxx, Toia Vix: Bring in the Allegiance class
Toi'Va, Ti'vath, Toivia: Design that long overdue Tier 5 C-Store Raptor
Tae'Va, T'Vaya, To'Var: Give us Asylums for Romulans

Don't make ARC mandatory! Keep it optional only!

Lulz.

VM on pets is so useful in PvE, right? You need it to beat PvE content, eh?

There aren't a million other more useful things to help beat that content, right?
