The next patch presently on Tribble buffs all space sets to properly operate based on its item level instead of player level. The Borg Mk XI space set gets a slight boost, but the Mk XII will enjoy better numbers. I'll post exact figures once I get home and logged in.

I hope so, not to hijack the thread but the borg mk xii engine is a joke, stat wise is the same as a mk xi 5 edc job.
I guess it makes the set work but really... 900 omega points and 32k dil for 2% chance of a hull regen?

I hate to break it to you, but all engines have a level based formula that determines their base stats. If you don't beleive me, go compare some commons....

Yes, that's how all engines work. The odd part: I do see a slight speed boost in sector space between the Mk XI and Mk XII despite their identical numbers. The deflectors and shields get the most numeric variances, and if the next patch goes live this Thursday, we will be seeing better numbers on both Mk XI and XII space sets.
