Thanks SO MUCH for all your support, and we'll see you in-game!
You don't like me and wish me ill, I get it--and don't care. Back to the topic please.
Where are you getting I don't like you from? I don't like your idea, and will debate the intricacies of why I believe it shouldn't happen for as long as necessary, but I don't have a personal dislike of you as a person.
I would still like gorn parts in the Alien creator, because what if I don't want to be a Gorn, I want to be a red-skinned tiny lizard alien?
That's not a bad idea either. It would be nice if you could make a race (with a huge number of options available to do so) and save it to a database with a name and some background info that other players could refrence and use.

Okay, you know what, I was unfairly attributing some other comments to you as I look back and apologize for that. There has been a lot of uncalled for heat in this discussion and I was sloppy there.
Your signature caused me to wake up in a desert with no pants.
Be honest now, that happens to you what; five or six times a year?

If it was not "on screen" it did not happen.
Fair enough. But remember that the ST writers were hardly top-shelf themselves when it came to consistancy--especially when it was not convienant to the story they were currently writing. My only point there is that it can be squared with things we learned about the Gorn in the various shows, both directly and indirectly. Sorry for late response to this but I was doing a lot of catching up, lol.
An occupation force that allowed for FULL sovereignty of the nation, representation in the Klingon government and millitary, as well as civilian status and full protectorate benefits?
When has Bin Laden and Saddam served on the US senate with Taliban forces walking the streets of D.C. and serving in the Marine Corps?
to avoid needless hyperbole, the Gorn are probably the #2 thing that make the Klingon faction unique and awesome, there's no need for Fed players to leech everything away just because of a fear of trying something new.
Well, Jews are represented in the Iranian parliament--still not an ideal situation for them however. As to the citizen status of the Gorn in the Empire--the British were (when it suited them) pretty open-handed with their conquered people's as well. At least the ruling class that is. From what we know of Klingon imperialism I certainly doubt the rank and file are thrilled, and the game has established that there are a large number of Gorn in a state of rebellion. The Federation would doubtless be happy to bring them into the fold where they could, especially given the overall military situation they find themselves in.
You last point is earnest and well-put; I honestly am having a hard time giving you an answer to it. But let me say that this makes for a rather lame #2 reason. The KDF ABSOLUTELY SHOULD get a LOT more real content. I would not have a word of complaint if you guys were given an entire season update to correct this.
A point Ive made before in this thread but you overlooked as you saw fit. Just like the the backstory of STO both written by the Devs and by author M. Martin (pages 186 -220) and see how the Gorn started down the path to being a part of the KDF.
Not to mention that the Devs removed the Gorn character options for a reason from fed play. One which they thought was important and was not shared with us though possibly because the Gorn are meant to be a KDF option only.
Mainly I say it should not be an option for the feds because your whole wanting of it is driven purely by selfish reasons.

I have no problem with Gorn parts in the creator but without knowing why they where removed it may be a hollow puirsuit.
Given the ugliness in here its time one of them put this to rest because for all we know the reason could be tied to future content that has nothing to do with feds ever getting Gorn again.
