# 1 Organized pvp
01-16-2013, 11:14 PM
Just a reminder to new or old pvpers that are not in the organized pvp channel to join it!
The add name is organizedpvp

Rules are as follows:

1. No personal threats, all the channel operators will take all serious threats on the channel seriously. You will be muted and reported.

2. No bashing fleets, when you bash a fleet you are attacking all the members in their organization even those that you don't know.

3. Treat other members with respect, basically treat others as you would like to be treated.

4. Respect the community, if you have no respect for PVP or anyone else in the channel expect your stay to be very shortlived.

5. Excessive Trolling / Stupidity, if it isn't funny anymore, stop.

Have fun

thanks for posting this, the only problem is we need to have a list of moderators who we can pm to get someone muted.

Good point.

"No, there is no real problem with P2W in STO. Obviously, if you fight against someone with an equal level of skill in the game, better equipment will give you an edge. But usually, it is the skill level that determines the outcome, not the P2W." - Sprinkles

The better solution is to just use the /ignore feature without hesitation.

Not sure if it's bleedthrough from the recent stuff elsewhere, but there has been more /ignore in the past couple of weeks than in the past couple of months. Guess different folks have different tolerances for different things...I have a higher tolerance for the Romper Room shenanigans than I do for the Romper Room hissyfits. One's stilly and stupid...the other's just ugly and stupid. Please no offense to the womenfolk present, but at times it feels like Cryptic needs to put out a Midol Lockbox...
Quinn: Remember how folks complained about the state of PvP?
J'mpok: Yeah, it was pretty bad - but I miss it.
Quinn: Yeah, I know what you mean.
J'mpok: How did it get so much worse?
D'Tan: Hi guys!

Those do sound like fleet names... but they aren't, right?

Hrmmm, I wasn't even thinking about that stuff. I was literally just thinking about the random beefs that come up between various players and some of the jokes about cucumbers and grapefruits.

I'm more tolerant of the silly than the bickering.

Thanks. That kind of explanation was what I meant - but I figured one could aggressively misunderstand it, so I edited it out.
